The meeting discussed several matters:

·         TESOL teaching hours and teaching credits.
·         ISSR telephone interview casual pay rates
·         requirement for fixed term staff who are to be re-appointed to be required to show satisfactory performance.
·         Leave: there are several proposals on adjusting leave, notably on long service leave, where the University wishes to allow staff to take it more easily and more frequently, and have the capacity to cash out some of it.
·         Senior Staff appointments: we wish to update the current clause whereby HEW10s and senior academic appointments (head of school and above) are not covered by the agreement.
